Basic Fire Life Safety Program

This program is
aimed at fire awareness, safety in and around the home and on completion, we award the learner with this vital life skill including a certificate of attendance.

The duration of the training will be approximately 5 hours per day and takes place every Thursday for a different school starting at 09hr 00 00 till 14hr 00. Booking in advance is essential.

Training will be held at your school. SA FIRE WATCH will conduct onsite practical training out of our Mobile Fire Simulator. The training will include the following as per OHSA:

  • What to do when a fire is discovered
  • Reaction to fire emergencies
  • Theory of combustion
  • Fire spread and control
  • Live fire demonstrations and participation
  • Effective use of fire extinguishers
  • Confined space entrapment and evacuation

SA FIRE WATCH is accredited with various professional bodies as well as a SETA skills levy contributor. Our facilitators are highly qualified with international fire services association and HPCSA (Health Professional council of South Africa
