Fire Life Safety Program.
The SA Fire Watch offer The Fire Life Safety Program as part of its Corporate Social Initiative to high school students. This program is aimed at fire awareness, safety in and around the home and on completion, we award the learner with this vital life skill including a certificate of attendance.
The programme trains 20 of learners for one day at no cost. The duration of the training will be approximately 5 hours per day and takes place every Thursday for a different school starting at 09h00 till 14h00.Booking in advance is essential.
Training will be held at SAFMA premises, Ottery Youth Care Centre Plantation Road Ottery.
The training will include the following as per OHSA:
SAFMA works within the framework of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and practice outcomes based education whereby skills, abilities and competencies are demonstrated. SAFMA is accredited with the South African Maritime Safety Association, Department of Labour and TETA Seta. Our facilitators are highly qualified with credentials from the International Fire Service Training Association (USA) and Health Professions Council of South Africa and various other professional associations.
